Walt Disney World Vlog - Animal Kingdom & Travel DAY 1 - Accessibility Review, DAS Pass & Transfers

This vlog is the first of 7 vlogs in my (hopefully first!) Disney Series. I was joined by Pam and Evie on this amazing trip with stops at Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Disney Springs, and Epcot (After Hours) during the Food & Wine Festival in August 2023. The first night we stayed at the Swan Hotel to get those two extra hours in the parks, the following night we stayed at the Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando which is a hotel in the Disney Springs area, and then we headed off on a three-night stay on the Disney Wish Cruise Ship!

Also, if you are new, I have a rare muscle disease, so for extended adventures I use my mobility scooter. The vlogs will feature some clips from my Scooter Cam, and I wore this action camera on the rides so that way you could not only see the rides but also how I transfer into and out of them as a person with limited mobility and muscle weakness.

We left Boston's Logan Airport on a 6 AM flight to Orlando International Airport, and then took an Uber to the Swan Hotel. After a quick change, we took the scenic route to get the bus at the Beach Club bus stop and take in the sights of the Boardwalk area. We then arrived at Animal Kingdom where so much fun was had! Included are full walk throughs and rides of Dinosaur, Flight of Passage, and Kilimanjaro Safaris. We had a hopper pass (shout out to Aiden's uncle for hooking us up with those hopper passes - thank you again!!), so the vlog ends as we board the bus to Magic Kingdom.
