Spring Vlog in Boston - Public Garden, Swan Boats, Boston Common, Faneuil Hall

Spring in Boston has arrived!

This vlog takes us all around Boston on a beautiful weekend in April! It was actually the weekend before the Boston Marathon, and it was the opening day for the Swan Boats in Boston's Public Garden, so the city was bustling with tourists.

The thumbnail is not clickbait - the Swan Boats did crash! The flowers were just starting to bloom in the Public Garden, but there were plenty of Cherry Blossoms in bloom, and there were daffodils around the city in honor of the 10th Anniversary of the Boston Marathon Bombing.

History buffs will enjoy this vlog! We stopped around the various monuments in the Public Garden, and I tested my knowledge. Spoiler alert: I am a poor example of a local because I did not know the background of these figures!

Along our journey we also took some strategic bathroom breaks, so you get to see the lobby's of Boston's Four Seasons Hotel and the Intercontinental.

We went to Boston Common where we saw The Embrace, the Frog Pond (closed for the winter), and Boston's State House.

A little ad was featured which gives all the info on how to contact Pam for all of your traveling needs! Her services are free and she is experienced with accessible travel! Follow her @PlanAMagicalStory on all social media channels, and email her at pamela@adventuresbyjamie.com.

We then headed to Faneuil Hall to get something to eat and to look around. It got really chilly quickly, but that's Massachusetts weather! If you don't like the weather, no need to worry, it will change in five minutes.

I also included footage from using an Uber Wav for the first time! I hope that Uber expands this access in other cities and creates initiatives for more drivers to sign up.

This vlog was the first one in which I included footage from an action cam attached to my scooter. I haven't seen this done before, so I welcome any comments or suggestions. I'm already planning to upgrade the camera, but was this footage a bonus or distracting? Let me know in the comments!
