San Diego Zoo SKYFARI - Tour Pt 2 Baboons, Penguins, Cheetahs & More

Part 2 of the San Diego Zoo (Main Campus) Vlog!

Having not researched it too much before attending, I was SUPER impressed by the accessibility. I went to the disability assistance office and got a disability access pass. They even have an accessible shuttle that you can call that will pick you up and drive you from any point in the zoo to another. I thought that was an amazing feature that I haven't seen anywhere else.

This vlog features the Skyfari Aerial Tram. It was more of a thrill ride than I thought! I didn't realize how high up it was going to go! While I didn't have trouble transferring, you do have to transfer out of a wheelchair into the buckets. I wish the accessibility was more inclusive for everyone. Normally, the Skyfari brings you from one side of the zoo to the other, but because my mobility scooter was at the beginning of the Skyfari, we got a round trip. I really enjoyed going on the Skyfari!

The rest of the vlog features the rest of our tour around the zoo. I apologize for my dreadful screeching. Many of the exhibits were rather quiet, so when we did see an animal moving around, it did scare me a bit!

One of the highlights was seeing a baboon poop and pee. You'll get it if you watch the vlog...

We also saw cheetahs, vervet monkeys (sorry that I kept pronouncing it vermet), penguins, turtles, crocodiles, birds, hummingbirds, and more!

Overall, I consider the San Diego Zoo a must visit. I wish I had more time and caught some of the shows. I would spend a full day here and definitely visit the San Diego Zoo Park.
