The National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette is a Roman Catholic place of prayer, worship, and reflection. Year-round, it holds masses and retreats, has a religious store, and supports ministries. One of these ministries is the Christmas Festival of Lights.
The Christmas Festival of Lights is La Salette Shrine's best-known ministry. Started in 1953, the La Salette Christmas Festival of Lights has dazzled visitors from all over the world. There are about 450,000 Christmas lights on display.
Located 15 miles northeast of Providence, RI and 41 miles south of Boston, MA, La Salette is a wonderful activity to attend, especially during the Christmas season. It gets busy, so plan ahead that finding a parking spot could be difficult!
There are many accessible activities here. If I were to go back, I would bring my mobility scooter so that I could experience the whole grounds.
This is the first vlog that I filmed with my Sony ZV1, so at this point I was still learning the settings!
