This Accessibility Vlog also includes stops at Greco, Honeygrow, and Tatte in Boston's Seaport neighborhood!
We took advantage of Bank of America's Museums on Us program (not an ad). For the past 25 years, Bank of America has cardholders free general admission - during the first full weekend of every month - to more than 225 cultural institutions in cities across the United States.
One of these institutions is the ICA or Institute of Contemporary Art in the Seaport area of Boston. Going here in the summer is very nice since it is right on the water so there is a beautiful sea breeze. We went on one of the coldest weekends of the year! Boston at this time was recovering from a polar vortex, so we were grateful it was even open since so many places experienced pipe bursts. We are not super knowledgable about art, particularly contemporary art, but we still enjoyed our time and were glad that we went. The accessibility was great, and there were wheelchairs available on a first come first serve basis. There were an abundance of stools that were available to borrow, but I personally found them to be too low for me.
After this, we got food in different places in Seaport - Honey Grow, Greco, and Tatte. All of these places are fast casual eateries, and we were happy with what we got to eat. Before going home we explored Seaport for a bit, and met two adorable dog friends who wanted to keep hanging out!
