EPCOT After Hours - Longest Walt Disney World Vlog - Food & Wine Festival

EPCOT After Hours!

This vlog is the fourth of 7 vlogs in my (hopefully first!) Disney Series. I was joined by Pam, Evie, and Aiden on this amazing trip with stops at Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Disney Springs, and EPCOT (After Hours) during the Food & Wine Festival before sailing on the Disney Wish in August 2023.

If you are new to the channel, I have a rare muscle disease, so for extended adventures I use my mobility scooter. The vlogs will feature some clips from my Scooter Cam, and I wore this action camera on the rides so that way you could not only see the rides but also how I transfer into and out of them as a person with limited mobility and muscle weakness.

After a full day at Disney Springs, we went to the EPCOT After Hours event. We stayed at a Disney Springs Hotel (the Drury Inn Plaza) so we got dropped off at the Boardwalk because we were planning to take the Skyliner for the scenic route.

We ended up getting there closer to 8, but you can enter Epcot with an After Hours ticket at 7 even though the event doesn't officially start until 10. The event consists of Epcot being closed to everyone without a ticket so the lines are significantly decreased. With a Disability Access Pass (DAS Pass), the app feature doesn't work during the After Hours Event but all you have to do is show a Lightning Lane attendant your app that shows that you are qualified for the DAS pass, and you are all set! I highly recommend the After Hours events for people who have temperature intolerance to heat, especially in the summer. I knew two park days in a row would be too much in August, so this was the perfect solution!

We also were there during the Food and Wine Festival, and we hit as many booths as we could before they closed for the After Hours Event. Food booth stops were made in Greece, Belgium, Spain, and more!

I transferred in the rides directly for the most part instead of waiting to go from my mobility scooter into one of their manual wheelchairs, but I mentioned the channel @Imaginary.Lemons because they have a great video on all the rides you can go on in Epcot and stay in your wheelchair.
