Disney Springs!
This vlog is the third of 7 vlogs in my (hopefully first!) Disney Series. I was joined by Pam, Evie, and Aiden on this amazing trip with stops at Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Disney Springs, and Epcot (After Hours) during the Food & Wine Festival before sailing on the Wish in August 2023.
The first night we stayed at the Swan Hotel to get those two extra hours in the parks, the following night we stayed at the Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando which is a hotel in the Disney Springs area, and then we headed off on a three-night stay on the Disney Wish Cruise Ship! If you are new to the channel, make sure that you subscribe to not miss anything! Any likes and comments are welcome and very appreciated so that I can keep this new-ish channel chugging along!
Also, if you are new, I have a rare muscle disease, so for extended adventures I use my mobility scooter. The vlogs will feature some clips from my Scooter Cam, and I wore this action camera on the rides so that way you could not only see the rides but also how I transfer into and out of them as a person with limited mobility and muscle weakness.

We woke up this morning at the Swan Hotel, and because we had such a long day park hopping on a travel day the day before, we checked out as late as possible. I did a full room tour of our room at the Swan, and then I toured around the Swan Hotel inside and outside. It is important to note that this is not an accessible room at the Swan – by the time we booked the only rooms available were those with King sized beds only. However, I was happy to see that rails and a detachable shower head were standard in the shower. These features benefit everyone! I definitely would love to return to the Swan, specifically to partake in karaoke at Kimonos. I also really loved getting the extra hours at the park as a part of staying at the Swan since it is considered a Deluxe Hotel. It is the most affordable Deluxe Hotel, and the price is comparable to a Moderate Resort.
Then we went to the Drury Inn Plaza which is a Disney Springs Resort Area hotel. We had to take the scooter apart, so I didn’t film since I would feel bad filming my crew working hard in the heat, but the Disney Springs Resort Area hotels aren’t that close to the lot where you get dropped off for Disney Springs. Since we had all of our luggage, we took an Uber to the Drury instead of walking a mile and a half in the heat. On top this, the Drury doesn’t have regular shuttles to the parks and Disney Springs like the Disney hotels. However, the rooms are very spacious at a great price point, and you get access to a concierge-like food hall. For this reason, I recommend it for people who plan to rent a car who are desiring more room than a standard hotel room.
Next, we went to Disney Springs! It was super hot this day, so I am glad we had access to go in and out of stores instead of being at a park. I hit all the favorites – World of Disney, the Marketplace Co-op, and Disney’s Days of Christmas. I also hit the World of Disney... with my scooter... tune in to watch that CRASH caught on my action cam. I showed a lot of merch in the stores, and I showed the Halloween section in the stores. Of course, I had to get an ornament as well!
After bidding adieu to the LEGO Loch Ness Monster, we headed back to the hotel to go to the food hall before spending the night at the Epcot After Hours event!
