Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University - Jamaica Plain / Roslindale (Boston)

This short vlog shows a last minute trip to the Arnold Arboretum. Located in the Jamaica Plain / Roslindale neighborhoods of Boston, this is a botanical research institution and free public park.

The visitor center features a small museum of trees. Established in 1872, it is the oldest public arboretum in North America. The visitor center also features wheelchairs on a first come first serve basis that have to be returned by certain times of the day, and the center has accessible bathrooms.

This arboretum features many types of trees and plants, and the maps indicate where you can find what. There are smoothly paved paths throughout. The Arboretum contains 281 acres with paths of different lengths. I didn't have my scooter at this point, but I plan to go back so that I can experience the Arboretum fully!
